EXITO DE LA HUELGA GENERAL EN EL PAÍS VASCO
A las organizaciones sindicales amigas:
La Huelga General convocada por LAB y otras centrales sindicales vascas, y celebrada ayer en el País Vasco fue un éxito.
El seguimiento fue del 76% en la industria, del 40% en la administración y de un 80% en la enseñanaza.
El paro fue total en el comercio en un gran número de pueblos del País Vasco, en la radio y televisón públicas vascas (EITB) y en un gran número de medios de comunicación, así como en el Metro de Bilbao y en los trenes regionales y los puertos de Pasaia y Santurtzi.
Las manifestaciones del mediodía en las cuatro capitales del País vasco Sur (Bilbao, San Sebastián-Donostia, Vitoria-Gasteiz y Pamplona-Iruñea) reunieron en su conjunto a más de 55.000 personas. Por la tarde, hubo más de 60 manifestaciones en diferentes pueblos y comarcas del País Vasco.
Desde LAB denunciamos la actitud de la polcía que detuvo a 8 personas durante la jornada, identificó a decenas de ellos y cargó contra manifestaciones de trabajadores en huelga.
Una vez más, desde LAB queremos agradecer la solidaridad mostrada por la Federación Sindical Mundial, las Uniones Internacionales de Sindicatos (UIS) de diversas ramas, y más de 60 centrales sindicales de todo el mundo.

SUCCESS OF THE GENERAL STRIKE IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY
To the organizations union friends:
The General Strike summoned for LAB and other Basque trade unions, and celebrated yesterday in Basque country was a success.
The pursuit was of 76% in the industry, of 40% in the administration and of 80% in the education.
The general strike was total in the trade in a great number of towns of Basque country, in the radio and public Basque TV (EITB) and in a great media number, as well as in the Meter of Bilbao and in the regional trains and the ports of Pasaia and Santurtzi.
The manifestations of the noon in the four capitals of the Country Basque South (Bilbao, San Sebastian-Donostia, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Pamplona-Iruñea) gathered on whole to more than 55.000 people. In the afternoon, there were more than 60 demostrations in different towns and districts of Basque country.
From LAB we denounce the attitude of the police that arrested 8 people during the day, it identified to dozens of them and policemen attacked workers' manifestations in strike.
Once again, from LAB we want to appreciate the solidarity shown by the World Federation of Trade Unions, the Trade Union Internationals (TUI) of diverse branches, and more than 60 trade unions from all over the world.

Aux organisations syndicales amies :
La grève générale convoquée par LAB et les autres centrales syndicales basques et qui s'est déroulée hier en Pays Basque, a été un succès.
La grève a été suivie par 76% des salarié-e-s dans l'industrie, 40% dans l'administration et près de 80% dans l'enseignement.
La paralysie a été totale dans le commerce sur un grand nombre de localités du Pays Basque, au sein de la radio et la télévision publique basque ( EITB) mais aussi dans beaucoup de medias, ainsi que dans le métro de Bilbao et dans les trains régionaux et les ports de Pasaia et Santurtzi.
Les manifestations de la mi-journée dans les quatre capitales du Pays Basque Sud (Bilbao, San Sebastián-Donostia, Vitoria-Gasteiz y Pamplona-Iruñea) ont rassemblé plus de 55.000 personnes. En fin d'aptès-midi, il y a eu plus de 60 manifestations dans différentes localités du Pays Basque.
LAB dénonce l'attitude de la police qui a arrêté 8 personnes durant la journée, contrôlé des dizaines de personnes et chargé contre des manifestations de salarié-e-s en grève.
Una fois encore, LAB envoie ses remerciements pour la solidarité montrée par la Fédération Syndicale Mondiale (FSM), les Unions Internationales de Syndicats (UIS) de différents secteurs et plus de 60 centrales syndicales du monde entier.
